One key element of the strategic realignment at kleinsorge is the innovative logistics concept developed together with the forwarder Kost Spedition. There are 4,500 pallet spaces in the logistics centre with a high-bay warehouse - just on the other side of the road. We can thus guarantee our customers short paths, efficient procurement and quick delivery times. Another hall complex with an area of 2,800 m2 joins onto this and is used for block storage and as a picking and staging area.
Professional prevention of mistakes through wireless networking for data transmission and ongoing stock control are just as much a matter of course as barcode control for picking and inventory management. Former employees of the kleinsorge Logistics department acting as job managers, coordinators and order pickers ensure that the necessary specific expertise is on hand. The entire logistics package is also incorporated into the kleinsorge quality assurance system. We are therefore able at all times to deliver just-in-time as and when required by operating a 24-hour service.
